We Bring People Together to Build Power

What We Do

Greater Cleveland Congregations unites people across lines of race, class, religion, and geography to take actions that strengthen and improve the quality of life of our neighborhoods.

As a non-partisan coalition of faith communities and partner organizations in Cuyahoga County, we work together to build power for social justice.

We are part of the Industrial Areas Foundation, the nation’s first and largest network of multi-faith coalitions, and we draw on its seven decades of experience winning tough battles across the country.

Drawing on the proven success of person-to-person organizing, we build the power necessary to be a catalyst for sustainable social change. Through our relationship-building, we challenge Greater Clevelanders to imagine the change we can accomplish, connect individuals and organizations to multiply our power, and mobilize our members by the thousands to make our voices heard.
