$50 cash for your first vaccine, $100 for your second, and $25 for your booster, as well as an additional $25 for every friend you bring to get vaccinated, no limit!

Incentivos en efectivo para vacunas COVID-19

Desde el sábado 12 de febrero  las Congregaciones del Gran Cleveland y los Centros para Familias y Niños organizarán clínicas de vacunación: "Dólares por dosis" en las congregaciones asociadas de GCC en el East Side de Cleveland. Las vacunas y refuerzos de Janssen (J&J), Moderna y Pfizer estarán disponibles para personas mayores de cinco años.

“Los datos muestran que, entregando incentivos en efectivo, es más posible que las personas no vacunadas se decidan a recibir la vacuna y, además, recomienden a otros a hacer lo mismo”, dijo Keisha Krumm, directora ejecutiva y organizadora principal de GCC. “Hemos visto que este enfoque funcionó con éxito en nuestro trabajo anterior sobre la aceptación de la vacunación, y estamos listos para relanzar nuestro proyecto a mayor escala”.

Las personas que acudan a la clínica de vacunas recibirán $50 en efectivo por su primera vacuna, $100 por la segunda y $25 por su refuerzo. Así mismo, recibirán $25 por cada amigo que traigan para vacunarse.

Siete congregaciones miembros de GCC, instituciones de confianza en sus vecindarios, servirán como sitios de vacunación para las 16 clínicas durante los siete meses: Iglesia Bautista Elizabeth (Aldea Eslava); Iglesia Bautista Antioch (Fairfax); Iglesia Bautista Institucional Olivet (Fairfax); Iglesia Bautista Lee Road (Lee-Harvard); Imani Iglesia Unida de Cristo (Euclides); Iglesia Bautista Shiloh (Central); South Euclid United Church of Christ (South Euclid/Cleveland Heights).

We're Onto Something and We Need Your Help!

We are estimating that the campaign will need funding to provide cash incentives to 3,000-6,000 people in low-vaccination neighborhoods, costing between $210,000 to $420,000 in cash incentives. In addition to the cash incentives, funds are needed to cover host church staffing and security.
