The final deadline in nearing for GCC congregations and other nonprofits in Northeast Ohio to join our group purchase for electricity, an important step towards starting our purchasing cooperative.

Wednesday, June 16, 4 - 5 pm, we are hosting the final info session on Zoom to describe the purchase and take questions. All are welcome - you can register for the session at this link. The attached flyer has more information.

We are building this purchasing cooperative so the economic power of our institutions becomes a force for justice. Together, our institutions spend millions of dollars each year to maintain our facilities. We believe the cooperative will save GCC institutions time and money and allow us to spend that money in line with our values by, for example, prioritizing purchasing from Black- and Brown-owned vendors. The cooperative is a chance to align what happens behind the pulpit with our missions.
